If the board ignores your letter or rules against you, your next options in Colorado include: requesting mediation (some HOA disputes require it before litigation), filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section if the conduct involves fraud or financial mismanagement, and filing in Colorado Small Claims Court (County Court) for disputes up to $7,500.
